VET SERVICES:  Ferguson Farm uses Virginia Tech Equine Field Services in Blacksburg for routine and emergency vet care. Some boarders have also used Farm Veterinary Services (Pell Animal Clinic) in Rocky Mount. Each vet has their own guidelines in regards to taking on new clients.  You can use any vet of your choosing, but if you decide to go with one of these, please reach out to them in advance of becoming a boarder to see if they will be able to take your horse as a new client once moving to Ferguson Farm.

FARRIER SERVICES:  The farm does not have a "house farrier" because each border uses a farrier of their choosing based on their horses specific needs (draft horse hoof care, hot shoeing, just trims, front shoes only, conditions requiring specific needs, etc.)  If you need a farrier we can offer recommendations.
